As a new professor with a huge learning curve, I had an enormous amount of catching up to do, to make my studio and program ready for the new year. I was lucky enough to stumble upon Clay Liston, the ceramics expert. He is one of those rare folks who knows it all; and he knows it from experience. In the years since I began teaching, Clay has become an invaluable source of knowledge and skill, when needed. Whether I need kiln repair, glaze or firing remedies or troubleshooting, or even a better clay body formulated, Clay Liston has consistently provided the answer.
